Hi Diego et al.,

A few quick comments on the current draft. I'm studying the diff from
the -01:
https://author-tools.ietf.org/iddiff?url1=draft-irtf-qirg-qi-multiplane-arch-01&url2=draft-irtf-qirg-qi-multiplane-arch-02&difftype=--html
as well as the full draft:
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-irtf-qirg-qi-multiplane-arch/
(which I have read in every draft so far)

* " In this approach, the Quantum Forwarding Plane (QFP) is in charge of
performing the operations (quantum and classical) to ensure the
exchange of the quantum signals" -- Sec. 4.1.  There are a total of
a dozen instances of the word "forwarding", some of which are definitely
fine the way they are, but some of which need to be checked for larger
context.

* You cite the Gottesman-Chuang paper for remote gates, but the
technique proposed there is infeasible. The better reference is
https://arxiv.org/abs/quant-ph/0005101 and
https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevA.62.052317

* Minor nit: I'm in the references as "R. V. Meter", but it should be
"R. Van Meter" :-).

The QUI is an interesting idea, and I'm really thrilled to see the parts
on QoS parameters, but I'm going to have to think about them more.

More later,

--Rod
