CALL FOR PAPERS
I Quantum Networks Workshop (WQuNets) 2024

The I Quantum Networks Workshop (WQuNets), a satellite event of SBRC
2024 (https://sbrc.sbc.org.br/2024/), aims to bring together experts,
researchers, industry professionals, and students interested in
discussing issues about quantum communication and networks, offering a
space for the exchange of ideas, sharing of recent research, and
collaboration on projects.

In this way, WQuNets 2024 invites authors to submit papers with
research contributions in the field of quantum networks and quantum
communication. Both theoretical and experimental studies are equally
welcome.

IMPORTANT DATES:
- Paper submission: 03/31/2024
- Notification of results: 04/22/2024
- Final version submission: 04/30/2024

TOPICS OF INTEREST (NON-EXHAUSTIVE LIST):

- Quantum Algorithms and Protocols applied in Computer Networks
- Quantum Machine Learning
- Quantum Cryptography and Post-Quantum Cryptography
- Quantum Key Distribution
- Experimentation and Simulation of the Quantum Physical Layer
- Future Impacts of Quantum Communication and Computing in Science &
Technology and Society
- Quantum Optics and Photonics
- Protocol Stack for Quantum Internet
- Protocols for Quantum Internet
- QoS and QoE in Quantum Networks
- Quantum Networks and Emerging Technologies
- Mobile Quantum Networks
- Quantum Repeaters
- Quantum Security and Privacy
- Simulation and Modeling of Quantum Networks

INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS
The submission of papers will be exclusively electronic, through the
JEMS3 System at https://jems3.sbc.org.br/sbrc2024. Papers can be
written in Portuguese or English and must be submitted only in PDF
format. Each paper is limited to 6 pages, including abstract, figures,
diagrams, and references. The works must be formatted following the
SBC article model, available at:

http://www.sbc.org.br/documentos-da-sbc/category/169-templates-para-artigos-e-capitulos-de-livros.

Papers submitted to WQuNets will be evaluated by the Workshop program
committee, and the best will be selected for presentation and
publication in the event proceedings. At least one of the authors of
each selected paper must register for SBRC and WQuNets, as well as
present it at the event. The Workshop proceedings will be published on
the SBC OpenLib Platform (SOL), the digital library maintained by the
Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) and will be freely available to the
entire society.
