Dear QUIC group members,

In real deployment, there are some use cases that services are implemented through combination of multiple protocols. A typical case is live streaming platform that will use HTTP and RTP protocols together. If I am right, application should create multiple QUIC sessions to support these different application protocols based on QUICv1 though they are triggered by a same service and system should allocate more resources to maintain these QUIC sessions.
Could we consider an new enhancement to current QUIC protocol to enable these combined application protocols to reuse the same QUIC session? We have made an initial analysis on this requirement described in draft-kang-quic-apps-multiplexing-a-session-00 ( https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-kang-quic-apps-multiplexing-a-session/ ). If someone encounters the same requirement, we can discuss and push this work together. Thanks

Best,
Jiao
