12 Jari Arkko as the sponsor of draft-das-mipshop-andsf-dhcp-options needs to know of any changes in the requirements from 3GPP side where the discussion on the 3GPP TS 24.302 requirements for ANDSF discovery are still ongoing. Hannu to inform Jari of 3GPP decisions in this area. Hannu Hietalahti Closed
13 The status of draft-mmusic-ice-tcp is marked dead in I-D Tracker, but a new version has been since then submitted. Hannu to find out from the responsible AD (Cullen) whether 3GPP should expect the draft to remain dead or not? Hannu Hietalahti Closed
New APs assigned in this meeting
14 Talk with ECRIT chairs and Robert Sparks to make a proposal on how and where the draft should progress Gonzalo Open
15 Request for volunteers from 3GPP side to co-author draft-mmusic-ice-tcp Atle Open
16 Check with 3GPP LS officer why the LS C1-101810 was not distributed on DISPATCH list Hannu Open

3. stalled drafts
Some even very long standing dependency drafts have made no progress recently and the meeting identified the best ways to continue the work in each case.

3.1 draft-drage-sipping-rfc-3455bis
3GPP is extending the requirements on this draft that contains the P-headers used in 3GPP and therefore it is difficult to provide a version that could make progress.

Open issue SIP rules do not allow repeated parameters, so that must be solved before this draft can proceed.

It was recommended that it would be better to proceed with those requirements that are known at the moment instead of waiting for more to come later. Keith volunteered to provide a new draft.

3.2 draft-drage-sipping-service-identification
Keith's draft makes reference to draft-ietf-sipping-service-identification. IESG review has returned comments on interaction with draft-ietf-sipping-service-identification.

It was discussed how the latter restricts the former one. The author to initiate discussion on this which could hopefully lead to agreement how to progress with new version of the draft.

3.3 draft-ietf-patel-ecrit-sos-parameter
So far this draft has been discussed in ECRIT and it was considered to be at least partially outside of the scope of the WG. It was not clear how and where this draft should progress as also AD sponsored track was suggested. Action point 14 was assigned to Gonzalo Camarillo.

3.4 draft-ietf-bliss-call-completion
Draft-ietf-bliss-call-completion is being prepared for final version for WGLC.

3.5 draft-ietf-mmusic-ice-tcp
There has been an author from MMUSIC side, but more 3GPP knowledge would be needed to progress the work and therefore a co-author from 3GPP CT1 would be needed.
AP 15 was assigned to Atle to ask for volunteers in CT1.
3.6 draft-patel-dispatch-cpc-oli-parameter
3GPP TSG CT WG1 has analysed the comments on DISPATCH mailing list and they respond to those in liaison statement to DISPATCH in document C1-101810.
CT1 give ISUP interworking as their justification for the use of Tel URI parameter and point out that the existing implementations consider CPC (Calling Party Category) as text values and OLI (Originating Line Identity) as digit values. That information is added by trusted entity and should not change during the call. CT1 request DISPATCH "to take into account the above analysis on draft-patel-dispatch-cpc-oli-parameter and are reminded that this URI parameter is already implemented within operator networks and is a 3GPP release 7 dependency that is required to be resolved as soon as possible. Delays in this work result in incomplete and unstable 3GPP specifications for interworking with legacy networks."

The response to the LS is secondary issue, but 3GPP needs a solution for the CPC / OLI parameter syntax. Unfortunately the author of the draft (and the LS) was not able to participate the teleconferenece.
Gonzalo commented that the LS is not visible in the IETF liaison side. Hannu took AP 16 to check it up with 3GPP LS contact why the LS has been held back. Time has been allocated for this discussion in the next IETF.
Keith commented that the necessary definitions already exist in 3GPP specifications since the draft was annexed to 3GPP specification. Based on the agreement between 3GPP and IETF, Tel URI parameters are up to IETF to define and therefore a solution that is acceptable for both IETF and 3GPP would be desirable.
4. Review of 3GPP - IETF dependency document
4.1 Dependency document review during the teleconference
draft-tschofenig-radext-qos has not made progress recently. The author seems to need to take action on this one.

draft-johnston-dispatch-sip-cc-uui is being chartered for WG.

Draft-das-mipshop-andsf-dhcp-options is waiting for AD review which Jari Arkko promised to do after this week.

Draft-vanelburg-sipping(or dispatch)-private-network-ind needs a new version and a decision whether to move it to DISPATCH.

alexeitsev-bliss-alert-info-urns
Chartering this draft is on the agenda of the next IESG telechat.

garcia-mmusic-sdp-misc-cap is replaced by draft-ietf-mmusic-sdp-misc-cap but it was commented that some pre-requisite conditions were agreed by the WG before making it a WG item.

Draft-montemurro-gsma-imei-urn needs more work from the authors as no progress has taken place recently.

dawes-dispatch-mediasec-parameter
It has not been clear clear why this draft would be needed. The author is working on new version of the draft to respond to the comments he has received on DISPATCH mailing list.

Draft-ietf-sipcore-location-conveyance was discussed in Anaheim meeting. It is clear that a new version will need to be produced but this meeting could not conclude whether the new version should an almost editorial re-write or more substantial simplification of the procedures. The work on the new version will continue in IETF.

4.2 Email comments provided on dependency document before the meeting
Several editors and other experts made their comments via email even before the meeting. Hannu and Gonzalo thanked all who provided their comments even when not able to participate the teleconference. Email comments were received on the following drafts:

DHCP option for home network information discovery in MIP6 (ietf-mip6-hiopt) is still stalled due a dependency on the uncompleted "RADIUS Mobile IPv6 Support". I am working with the authors to complete the stalling document, but 3GPP wise our bottom line is that the DHCP option will not be modified so I guess we're fine.

Binding revocation for IPv6 mobility (ietf-mext-binding-revocation) is in RFC Editor queue, AUTH48 is almost completed pending final approval from one co-author (Sri Gundavelli) and our Area Director (Jari Arkko) regarding UPDATE status.

Mobile IPv6 (mext-rfc3775bis) is ready to be submitted to IESG for publication pending the document Editor to publish the revision update reflecting final agreement.

avasarala-dispatch-comm-div-notification
Still has issues that need to be resolved during expert review. In progress.

jesske-dispatch-reason-in-responses
Will probably move forward in some form but making slow progress.

johnston-dispatch_sip-cc-uui
Likely to be charted as a WG soon.

kaplan-dispatch-session-id
Still trying to decide on what this is and what it solves. Will likely end up as chartered WG. Will have agenda time for this at next IETF meeting.

patel-dispatch-cpc-oli-parameter
No use cases identified yet that do not seem to be meant by SIP-T. Not making rapid progress.

vanelburg-sipping-private-network-ind
Appears to be dead. No progress for over a year.

yu-tel-dai
Not much progress but probably not dead. Charter proposed to do this work along with CPC / OLI drafts.

Draft-jesske-dispatch-reason-in-responses has been updated to new version that separates the use cases and the protocol requirements more clearly.

Draft-ietf-sipcore-invfix is in IETF last call until June 22nd.

sipping-config-framework
The document is in IESG evaluation and still requires a number of discussion points to be solved.

sipcore-invfix
The title of the document was corrected on the dependency list. Publication for this document has been requested, and it is currently in IETF-wide last call (through June 22).

sipcore-info-events
This document is still in IESG evaluation. The discussion point currently mentioned in the tracking spreadsheet has been cleared, but another has been raised. The new discussion point seems relatively minor, and should result in a small set of largely editorial changes to the document. It is up to the author to provide new version of the document to resolve this discussion point.

sipcore-keep
New version issued June 24. One open item remains in the document. After this item is closed, the document is expected to be ready for working group last call.

ietf-mmusic-sdp-media-capabilities is awaiting another update and then WGLC.

ietf-mmusic-sdp-cs will be ready for WGLC when higher-priority documents are finished.

garcia-mmusic-sdp-misc-cap is replaced by draft-ietf-mmusic-sdp-misc-cap and discussed at IETF77. There were reservations regarding potential conflict with ICE. There was supposed to be further list discussion before the draft was adopted as a WG item.

5. Next meeting
Hannu will attend IETF #78 which makes a good opportunity for the next status check-up.

6. Any other business
None.

7. Closing
The meeting was closed at 16:55 UTC.§
