Have a look maybe at https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/draft-ietf-regext-validate-04
which seems to cater for similar needs, but for contacts.

As such, perhaps one generic extension being applicable for any object types
would be better than having one extension per object type.

So a new draft could encompass both what you want to do and what regext-validate
aims to do.
