Make that 4 sentences:

   When I joined ISI, shortly after Jon Postel passed away, the RFC
   Editor as we know it today (as defined in RFC 5620 <https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5620>, and as obsoleted
   by RFCs 6548 and 6635) did not exist.
