Hello, I have a few comments about draft-iab-rfcformatreq-00. In Section 2.1.2: "The IETF works in ASCII (and English)." From draft-rfc-editor-rfc2223bis-08: "However, English is the primary language in which IETF business is conducted, and English is the official publication language for RFCs." I suggest changing the text to: English is the official publication language for RFCs. In Section 3.2: "* There must be support for Accessibility, including alternative text for images, limitations on color." There is a discussion of the color limitation in the fifth paragraph of that subsection. I suggest removing sentence quoted above and replacing it with something along the lines of "graphics should be accompanied by explanatory text". The WCAG20 reference can be removed. Regards, -sm P.S. The IETF used English to communicate. ASCII was the standard for character encoding as email was used as the primary means of communication.
