Hi- Here's a nifty thing. We've added anchors to entries in the RFC Editor queue to allow linking directly to a document of interest. For example, try http://www.rfc-editor.org/queue.html#draft-ietf-ipv6-rfc2012-update Be aware that we're just rolling this out so there may be bugs. Please play with it and send us comments or even if you just find it useful. Thanks, --aaron (for the RFC Editor) -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... There is essentially no need for someone who VPNC> can only use email, not the web or FTP, to be reading Internet VPNC> standards and associated documents. There are lots of places with rather restrictive policies. This may be because of politics ("great firewall of china"), or because bandwidth is so expensive that doing anything "interactive" like FTP/WWW is slow. On the other hand, email happens asynchronous to the user, and can get queued up for later use. I hate that we use email for this - my opinion is that if we had a good non-interactive file transfer protocol that people would never send documents by email, and therefore our virii problem would never have occured. So, I too, would ask if there is a way for these folks that need this service to get things another way - but I think just saying they have no business is not right. - -- ] ON HUMILITY: to err is human.
