A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories. This draft is a work item of the Robust Header Compression Working Group of the IETF. Title : Integration of Robust Header Compression (ROHC) over IPsec Security Associations Author(s) : E. Ertekin, et al. Filename : draft-ietf-rohc-hcoipsec-12.txt Pages : 15 Date : 2009-12-04 IP Security (IPsec) provides various security services for IP traffic. However, the benefits of IPsec come at the cost of increased overhead. This document outlines a framework for integrating Robust Header Compression (ROHC) over IPsec (ROHCoIPsec). By compressing the inner headers of IP packets, ROHCoIPsec proposes to reduce the amount of overhead associated with the transmission of traffic over IPsec Security Associations (SAs). Status of this Memo This Internet-Draft is submitted to IETF in full conformance with the provisions of BCP 78 and BCP 79. Internet-Drafts are working documents of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), its areas, and its working groups.
