ROHCers,

An updated version of the draft describing context replication for ROHC
profiles, <draft-ietf-rohc-context-replication-02.txt>, has been
submitted. The draft is available at:

Minor changes based on previous discussions are included.

In particular, the following has been updated:

* A new section (3.5.3)with text clarifying the properties of the
  BCID has been added;
* In section 3.3.3.1, text was added to clarify what part of a base
  context must have been ACKed to make it suitable for replication;
* In section 3.4.3, implications of a decompressor implementation
  not sending a STATIC-NACK for a decompressor performing strict
  memory management have been added;
* some very minor editorial changes;

Remaining open issues to be discussed:

* Is inter-profile context replication worth doing/motivated?
* If yes:
  - How do we define the export interface for replication?
  - Should the export interface be limited to new profiles
    (or versions) only?
  - If a profile supporting CR is negotiated, what does this mean
    for the other profiles?
    Does this mandate that all other profiles implement the export
    interface for inter-profile context replication? 

Please review the updated version and provide feedback on the above
issues.
