Dear all:

With 05 we worked on error flows, what happens is forwarding along a P-Route fails. The idea is to use a new ICMP Error message that is sent to the root by the source of the projected SR P-Route in non-storing and by any node in the storing P-path.

The RPL ICMP "Error in Source Routing Header" is still used as in RFC 6550; it is used in non-storing P-Routing between the node that detects that the SR path is broken and the source of the SR path. This is the way we keep things consistent with RFC 6550. Note that a projected SR path is compatible with intermediate nodes doing non storing but not aware of this draft.

We still need to refine how the root recognizes what route is broken. There is text about using Local InstanceID, to be discussed. Any suggestion welcome.

Merry Christmas!

Pascal
