Hi Paul,

Thanks for that. A few comments:

- The document uses the word 'framework' at a frequency that becomes distracting. I know that's the term that 7990 uses, but I think it would be *much* more readable if you used alternative terminology at least sometimes -- e.g., 'plan'.

- "Instead, this document describes the expected progression to version 4 of the XML grammar and semantics." -- that seems a bit strong; I think it lays out potential paths forward, not yet expectations.

- The document title isn't relevant any more. How about "Status of the XML2RFC Format"?
