FYI,

Anyone authoring a draft that contains SDP (e.g., JSEP), please note that the BUNDLE SDP has changed a little. The bundle-only attribute is now used in both offers and answers. And, once a BUNDLE address has been negotiated, it is only assigned to ONE m- section within the BUNDLE group (it was previously assigned to each m- section within the BUNDLE group).

In addition, once a BUNDLE group has been negotiated, there are restrictions on how an answerer within an answer can reject/move m- sections out of a BUNDLE group.

The changes are done based on requests from people, and comments that the procedures were difficult to understand.

Regards,

Christer

Subject: [MMUSIC] Draft new version: BUNDLE-41

Hi,

I have submitted a new version (-41) of BUNDLE.

The main technical changes are in the Offer/Answer sections:

  * The SDP bundle-only attribute is now used both in offers (initial and subsequent) and answers.
  * If the m- section of an offer contains a BUNDLE address, the answerer cannot reject that m- section or move the m- section out of the BUNDLE group in the answer.
  * Some of the ICE offer/answer subsections were removed, because most of the text was duplications and people asked why it is needed.

I have tried to address to questions/comments I have received, and I personally think the procedures are easier to understand now.

Regards,

Christer
