Subject: [Rosa] Side meeting on Routing on Service Addresses (ROSA) at IETF117

Dear all,

As previously announced, we will be organizing a side meeting on ROSA (routing on service addresses) at the upcoming IETF117.

To avoid conflicts with other IETF slots, we have decided to hold this side meeting on the 24th of July from 6.30pm to 8pm in the Continental 2-3 room (please check the side meeting wiki for information on facilities).

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss with interested parties on the problems ROSA intends to address and the use cases which motivate the work (see https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-mendes-rtgwg-rosa-use-cases/), a gap analysis to existing work and possible requirements (https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-contreras-rtgwg-rosa-gaar/) as well as architectural work on addressing the problem (https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-trossen-rtgwg-rosa-arch/).

We will soon be publishing a detailed agenda for the side meeting but we can state upfront that our intention is to facilitate discussion with the community, so please bring your views to this meeting and get in touch if you would want to have some time for bringing your views to attention - we will attempt to accommodate such interest.

In the meantime, please do pencil down the aforementioned slot and we all hope to see you in San Francisco for an interesting discussion. We will provide a remote connection facility for those who cannot join us in person.

For any discussion, comments, or feedback, please do use the ROSA-specific mailing list.

Best,

Dirk (on behalf of the draft co-authors)
