Anima met on Monday morning.

The following updates and presentations were made:

  * Updates from the “anima signaling design team” (to coincide with draft-carpenter-anima-gdn-protocol-04)
     * Discussion of the goals and issues assigned to the design team and approaches taken.
     * Discussion resulted in updating requirements for use by Autonomic Service Agents (ASAs), now 25 items.
     * Wiki is available with a “toy” implementation and conceptual ASA APIs to help vet the APIs and protocol engine
     *   Rename GDNP to GRASP
     * Advise on use of binary vs. object oriented attribute representation (hum) resulted in preference for object oriented scheme
  * Updates from the “bootstrapping” focused on draft-pritikin-bootstrapping-keyinfra-02
     * Added state diagrams, simplified architecture diagram and updated document structure
     * Reduced security operational modes to compensate for constrained nodes (considerations for these are noted)
     * Discussion of anima bootstrap vs. netconf; presentation of similarities, differences and suggested resolution/convergence
  * Updates on Autonomic Control Plane
     * Discussion on draft updates and review of workflow
     *   Discussion of requirements

Adoption of the three above drafts were favorable from the hum results.

Presentation of the Reference model:
 - Discussion of the reference model: delineation of ASA functions and autonomic networking infrastructures
 - Discussion of issues remaining (some discussed included naming and its usage, IPv6 only vs including IPv4)
 - Presentation of proposed addressing schemes and sub-schemes

Thanks, Nancy.
