The IESG has approved changing the status of the following document:
- DES and IDEA Cipher Suites for Transport Layer Security (TLS)
  (rfc5469) to Historic

Status Change Details:

The DES and IDEA cipher suites specified in [RFC5469] were
specifically removed from TLSv1.2 by [RFC5246]; those old
versions of (D)TLS are being moved to Historic by
status-change-tls-oldversions-to-historic.  With no current
versions of (D)TLS left with which these cipher suites can be used,
they are historical artifacts, and the corresponding specification
should be moved to the Historic state.

Upon approval and its publication as an RFC,
draft-ietf-tls-oldversions-deprecate should replace this status change
document as the reference for the status change event.
