Hello everyone,

I'd like to share an easter update from the RPKIViews project: a new
data collection is now available for researchers, an efficiently
organized archive of the world's RRDP server responses!

This collection of 'raw HTTP responses' differs from the RPKISPOOL
productions in that this collection exclusively contains *UNVALIDATED*
RPKI data. That is, the captured data /presumably/ is RPKI data! The
collector makes absolutely no attempt whatsoever to establish the
veracity of the data presented by RRDP servers.

The primary goal of this archive is to have visibility on potential
issues in the realm of RRDP and aid operators in troubleshooting
efforts. E.g., track desynchronisation issues like described in RFC
9697, or capturing of data containing XML or Base64 encoding errors.

The data collection implementation is Ties de Kock's RRDP utilities in
Python (https://github.com/ties/rpki-rrdp-tools-py/) and runs roughly
every minute. The list of rpkiNotify URIs to crawl is generated by
rpki-client every hour.

The archive is reachable via Rsync: rsync://rrdp.rpkiviews.org/data/

Happy debugging!

Kind regards,

Job
