are probably the most recent relevant documents here. If somebody can
apply their text interpretation skills here and divine what's meant for
this case. In those documents, CR and LF only show up as being allowed
in obs-text or obs-qp, the obsolete syntax. This would suggest removing
them from SIP as well. I've sent email to the editors of those documents
to see if they can enlighten us.
