Hi all, The purposed Conference Event Package (-10) makes a lot of sense, is flexible enough, and meets the requirements and scenarios for conferencing and services-over-IMS. As I see it, with the changes done by Orit from -09 to -10 we now have a package which is both implementable and also easily extended to meet future needs (actually it already covers a wide area, much of it still not necessarily needed by most implementers). I think we can all agree that seeing the closure of this package as soon as possible is very important and will contribute to all players in the industry. I agree with Orit, and I see no cause for preventing this document to be WGLC. I hope you see it in the same way. Based on the feedback from a couple of readers and with Henning's help, we have restructured Section 5 and added more narrative description to it. We hope that it became more readable this way. 2. Based on the feedback from Henning, I have restricted the partial notification mechanism, being used by this package, to be applicable to a few critical elements only. The new wording opens the door for additional application-agnostic partial notification mechanism (when defined) to be used with this package in future. 3. The changes to XML since -09 are: - <active-media> container removed - <available-media> container is now indexed by 'label' and contains a new media <status> element - <maximum-user-counter> and <user-counter> are overall counters now (i.e. the <role>-s are removed) - <endpoint> is indexed by <entity> of type xs:string (i.e. the secondary index is removed) With these changes, I am not aware of any issues that prevent this document from being WG Last Called. In order to move forward efficiently, when you post your comments, please, be specific whether it is a requirement issue or it is a potential technical issue (e.g. the text is not clear, the mechanism doesn't work, etc.).
