Dear Softwire WG members,

With this last milestone just closed and with all the 3 remaining WG documents in the AUTH48 stage (i.e. published in a matter of days), as the current responsible AD for softwire and in agreement with the current chairs (Ian Farrer and Yong Cui), I will close the working group after IETF-106. **EXCEPT** if I read valid arguments against the closing on the softwire WG before the end of IETF-106.

The mailing list will be kept active as it is usually the case.

More than 30 RFC have been published on the 14 years of lifetime of this WG !

Thank you and congratulations to all participants, past and active chairs, past AD for the hard work done, delivered and **deployed** !

Regards

-éric
