Where is a good source of information on the details of migrating to SSM on
real-world
LANs?

I've seen switches that crash when they see a IGMPv3 packet. Apparently XP
doesn't send
IGMPv3 packets when it sees certain traffic on an existing LAN. Apparently
routers
stop using IGMPv3 when they see IGMPv2 traffic (sounds an easy inadvertent
DOS attack).

Please tell me I'm wrong and that a gradual migration from ASM to SSM is
easy....
