While neither the ASDF WG nor T2TRG are meeting at this IETF (we decided for post-IETF interims, to be announced), we plan to progress implementation efforts in the areas of data models for IoT devices and their interactions, including model translators and model-driven connectors/gateways.

https://wiki.ietf.org/en/meeting/116/hackathon#:~:text=ASDF,T2TRG
(Link with Chrome hack; search for “ASDF” in other browsers.)

Our main objective is to make sure all SDF tooling is ready for the spec version that will become RFC, and from that effort, that this spec version is indeed ready for becoming RFC.
There are also some new drafts linked on the above page; of particular interest is the handling of links in the models themselves and in the interaction affordances described by the model.
We also want to see whether we meet the requirements for integration (automatic conversion) of the Bluetooth models.
Of course, if you have anything else that we should focus on, please tell us now (on this list or to asdf-chairs@ietf.org or me directly).

Note that the timing in based on Japan time, so in US timezones the code work starts on late Friday afternoon:

Note also that the switchover to DST in Europe happens on this very weekend, *during* the Sunday part of the Hackathon! (This causes some apparent time dilatation for European remote attendees.)

At the start of the hackathon page, you can find links to register either for onsite or remote attendance (free of charge); please do this so the organizers can plan.

Grüße, Carsten
