The IESG has approved the Internet-Draft Increasing TCP's Initial Window <draft-floyd-incr-init-win-03.txt> as an Experimental Protocol. The IESG also approved publication of the following Internet-Drafts as Informational RFCs: Simulation Studies of Increased Initial TCP Window Size <draft-ietf-tcpimpl-poduri-02.txt> When TCP Starts Up With Four Packets Into Only Three Buffers <draft-shepard-tcp-4-packets-3-buff-02.txt> These documents are the product of the TCP Implementation Working Group. The IESG contact persons are Scott Bradner and Vern Paxson. Note to RFC Editor: Please add the following to draft-shepard-tcp-4-packets-3-buff-02.txt Security Considerations: This document discusses a simulation study of the effects of a proposed change to TCP. Consequently, there are no security considerations directly related to the document. There are also no known security considerations associated with the proposed change.
