Hi WG,

We have posted -05 of the NRP YANG draft, incorporating WG feedback and aligning with recent progress in related drafts (MPLS MNA, NRP Scalability).
Diff: https://author-tools.ietf.org/iddiff?url2=draft-ietf-teas-nrp-yang-05

Key changes from -04:
1. Complete Selector ID definition (Sec 3.2.2)
   - Added full MPLS support: In-Stack (NRPS13/20/ENRPS20) and Post-Stack encodings

2. Refactored Monitoring model (Sec 3.3)
   - Reorganized operational state using `choice`/`case` for single-NRP vs. multi-NRP topologies

3. Enhanced Security sections
   - Granular security analysis for nrp-policies, selector-id, and topology nodes

4. Fixed examples and terminology
   - Resolved all open issues from -04 (Appendix A removed the resolved issues)
   - Added device-level configuration example with interface-specific overrides

Specifically seeking feedback on:
- MPLS Selector ID encoding options (In-Stack vs Post-Stack)
- The choice/case approach for multi-NRP monitoring

Thanks to Tom Petch, Adrian, Med, Lius, Xuesong, and Italo for their comments.

Thanks,
Bo on behalf of the co-authors

Subject: New Version Notification for draft-ietf-teas-nrp-yang-05.txt

A new version of Internet-Draft draft-ietf-teas-nrp-yang-05.txt has been successfully submitted by Bo Wu and posted to the IETF repository.

Name: draft-ietf-teas-nrp-yang
Revision: 05
Title: YANG Data Models for Network Resource Partitions (NRPs)
Date: 2026-01-22
Group: teas
Pages: 55
URL: https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-ietf-teas-nrp-yang-05.txt
Status: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-teas-nrp-yang/
HTMLized: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/draft-ietf-teas-nrp-yang

Abstract:

RFC 9543 describes a framework for Network Slices in networks built
from IETF technologies. In this framework, the network resource
partition (NRP) is introduced as a collection of network resources
allocated from the underlay network to carry a specific set of
Network Slice Service traffic and meet specific Service Level
Objective (SLO) and Service Level Expectation (SLE) characteristics.

This document defines two YANG data models for Network Resource
Partitions (NRPs): a network-level model for policy configuration by
a Network Slice Controller, and a device-level model for
configuration of individual network elements. These models enable
automated provisioning of NRPs in IP/MPLS and Segment Routing (SR)
networks, supporting scalable realization of RFC 9543 Network Slice
   Services.
