Dear WG,

This draft targeted on providing an ACTN-based inter-op test among multiple vendors. In the very initial version we include the description of the environment setting of the test and how it related with other works in various WGs in IETF. Four test cases have also been defined in this document. The test is now under progressing by effort from a few vendors and operators, together with universities and research institutions.

You are more than welcome to read this draft and provide your comments, and please feel free to contact with us (either privately or on the list) if you have any interests for more details. We hope this draft can bring people to integrate the current ACTN and modeling works with the implementation scenario, and then we can validate the applicability of IETF models.

Thanks a lot.

Best wishes,
Haomian (on behalf of all authors and contributors)

A new version of I-D, draft-zheng-teas-actn-multivendor-interop-00.txt
has been successfully submitted by Haomian Zheng and posted to the IETF repository.

Name: draft-zheng-teas-actn-multivendor-interop

Title: Inter-op Test Cases in Multi-vendor Scenario based on ACTN Architecture

Abstract:
ACTN is a practical approach to repurpose existing and well-defined
technologies, and underpinning them with SDN principle. It provides
a hierarchal architecture to scale and support multi-vendor multi-
   domain interworking using RESTconf(YANG Model)/PCEP/BGP-LS.

This document contains a test case proposal focused multi-domain,
multi-vendor interoperation test cases for the ACTN framework. These
test cases cover four test scenarios, including topology
abstraction, E2E service provisioning, DC load balancing and inter-
domain restoration, to demonstrate the fundamental ideas of the ACTN
   framework and standards.

Please note that it may take a couple of minutes from the time of submission until the htmlized version and diff are available at tools.ietf.org.
