A New Internet Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories. This draft is a work item of the TELNET Working Group of the IETF. Title : TELNET Transfer Control Option Author(s) : S. Denton Filename : draft-ietf-telnet-transfer-option-00.txt Pages : 7 This memo describes a Telnet option that allows servers to direct clients to re-connect at a specified address. This is useful for distributed servers, such as library databases. It also allows servers which implement load-sharing to indicate a less loaded server to the client. This option allows retargeting to be implemented transparently to the user. Internet-Drafts are available by anonymous FTP. Login with the username "anonymous" and password "guest". After logging in, Type "cd internet-drafts". "get draft-ietf-telnet-transfer-option-00.txt".
