Notice of Proposed Amendment to IETF IPMC TLP for the Independent Submission Stream.

When we posted the Draft TLP 6.0 in July, https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/msg/tlp-interest/8dtqlx35kp_a1kJHqp51imswXkQ/ the Alternate Stream TLPs were left TBD.

After consulting with the Independent Stream Editor, we propose a draft TLP 6.0 for the Independent Submission Stream, based on the general TLP 6.0. That document, and a redline against the general TLP 6.0, are posted on the IPMC’s TLP page, https://www.ietf-ipm.org/tlp/

* Proposed TLP for Independent Submissions:
https://www.ietf-ipm.org/uploads/IETF-IPMC-ISE-Technical-Legal-Provisions-6.0-DRAFT-AUGUST-18-2026.pdf

• Redlined against the proposed TLP 6.0 (July 19 draft), from which it is derived:
https://www.ietf-ipm.org/uploads/IETF-IPMC-ISE-Technical-Legal-Provisions-6.0-DRAFT-AUGUST-18-2026-compare.pdf

Other Alternate Streams are proposed to be covered in the general TLP.

As required by the IETF IPMC TLP these amendments are undergoing a minimum 30 day notice following the requirements of the current IETF IPMC TLP Section 2.e before the IETF IPMC Directors can vote to adopt any proposed amendments.

Please note that the URIs present in the draft TLP will be updated prior to final version. Likewise, the effective date will be amended when approved.
