You're right. The existing hybrid + PQT dual-certs solution is indeed much more mature than the one proposed in this draft. Thanks for pointing this out. I will withdraw the draft tonight. 使用 Proton Mail 安全邮箱发送。 2025年10月2日 星期四 下午 3:18,Muhammad Usama Sardar <muhammad_usama.sardar@tu-dresden.de> 来信: > On 02.10.25 08:57, Bocai Zhou wrote: > > > About dual chains and draft-yusef > > Your correction that I spoke of “two certificates” rather than “two certificate chains” was crucial. Thank you for pointing to draft-yusef-tls-pqt-dual-certs; its structure is indeed more rigorous and better suited for path validation. I will adopt that approach immediately and add proper acknowledgement and citation to that draft and its authors to give them due credit. > > I am still missing a good reason for why you will adopt that approach in your draft rather than contributing to that draft, and other ongoing PQ efforts in TLS WG. > > -Usama
