Good news. I have figured out the magic URL scheme to make joining a meeting on a mobile device more seamless. Once I have added the Remote Instructions to the new JSON API, I will be able to provide a button to join the conference from within the iPhone/iPad app. But this URL scheme should also work on Android.

As an example, I will use tomorrow’s DNSOP-02 meeting.

Meeting Id: 616 191 802
Meeting Password: 3JNxacS23pS

Then the correct URL for mobile is:

wbx://ietf.webex.com/ietf?MK=616191802&MPW=3JNxacS23pS <wbx://ietf.webex.com/ietf?MK=616191802&MPW=3JNxacS23pS>

So every working group chair should be informed of this for now and maybe in the future it could be automated.

Thanks,
Tom
