Dear GNAP working group members,

The core GNAP protocol is within days of publication, and the GNAP Resource Server protocol has just been approved for publication by the IESG and will be going into the RFC Editor.

With that, we believe this is the right time to shut down the working group. As usual, the mailing list will remain open for discussions.

Leif and I would like to thank all who were part of this long journey, and in particular thank our persistent editor team, Justin Richer and Fabien Imbault. GNAP did not manage to take over the world of web authorization. But it has had some influence on the community and the protocols and may still end carving out a niche of its own.

See you all,

                Leif and Yaron
