Dear San Jose URL BOF Attendees (and other interested parties):

The calendar indicates that winter break is over so it's time to pick up where
we left off in San Jose.

Larry (and Dan and Harald) have posted their first cut at a URL guidelines and
process document. Now it's time to discuss it and, if necessary, form a working
group to advance it along its way. To keep discussion of this document separate
from other UR* discussions, a separate mailing list has been created
(compliments of Paul Hoffman at the Internet Mail Consortium).

To subscribe, send mail to: ietf-url-request@imc.org

The body of your message should contain only the single word "subscribe".

The mailing list is open for subscription now and discussion will be enabled
shortly. Please remember that this discussion list is for the URL guidelines
and process document and working group only.

Rich Petke (r.petke@csi.compuserve.com)
(volunteered to co-chair the URL WG)
