All of these networks have routers, which need IP addresses.  I don't 
think there is a clear default answer, so the designer needs to choose 
addresses from the types available.  Given there is more then one 
option, I don't see how it's not relevant.

Is there harm in providing a clear set of options to the designers? To 
me, providing information to a designer is helpful.  They can chose what 
they need/want.
