Folks,

We have submitted a new draft entitled " IPv6 over ATM interworking function ". The intent of the draft is to address the issue of communication between legacy ATM/SDH and IPv6 over Ethernet when network migrates to IPv6, to discuss possible solutions and potential related issues.

The latest version is available at:

Any comments will be appreciated.

Regards,
Will

Abstract:
This document describes a interworking function between IPv6 over ATM
(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) and IPv6 over Ethernet. There are
different states for IPv6 over ATM and Ethernet. The interworking
function need maintain the states from both ATM and Ethernet to make
sure the network can be communicated between ATM and Ethernet.
