=================================
IETF Vcarddav working group
IETF 80 meeting, Prague
April 1st 2011, 13h00-14h00

Document status:
- MKCOL is RFC
- CardDAV in RFC ed queue waiting for vCardRev
- vCardRev coming to finalization
- vCardXML in WGLC

Charter issues:
- Nothing done with Sieve working group
- Nothing with LDAP mapping

Document issues:

vCardRev:
- Review of changes from -13 to -16
- KIND is the last open issue
-- Discussion of options
-- Seems to be consensus on the list with the proposed text
-- Barry will send Simon XML source so he can drop it in
- Will get APP reviews on the final document
- Note that people normatively dependent upon this

vCardXML:
- Review changes from -05 to -07
- Minor changes, mostly being consistent with vCardRev
- -08 will again be minor and synchronizing
- Need in-depth review of mappings to make sure we got everything right
- Need XML expert review to cite in PROTO writeup

Three extension documents
(1) draft-li-vcarddav-vcard-id-property-extensions
(2) draft-george-vcarddav-vcard-extension
(3) draft-cauchie-vcarddav-oma-cab-extensions
- Asking for (1) to be a WG document; will take that to the mailing list
- The other two can go through as individual submissions
- All need more review; social-network (2) needs more work, as well

Rechartering discussion:
- Recharter for extensions, perhaps
- Also JSON mapping?
- Discussion... consensus: ADs will consider rechartering for extensions
only
- Will pick up three existing extension proposals, solicit others
