More than a few extensions I'd say, but still better than the mess today.

On another note, to John's point about repeating history - (which I do
sympathize with).

Winston Churchill said:

"Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of
enthusiasm."

So maybe this will fail, maybe it will succeed, but right now we aren't
doing anything and that's probably the least desirable of all options.
