Subject: reminder - new version of mapping tables should be in effect
Hi, just a reminder to U.S. X.400 managers that the newest version of the international RFC1148 mapping tables went into effect yesterday, Wednesday, November 4th. In PP, these correspond to the or2rfc, rfc2or, and rfc1148gate tables. If you are operating an X.400 to SMTP email gateway, it is important to use the current version of the tables. I have made the new tables available via anonymous ftp on mhs-relay.cs.wisc.edu. To get the new version of the tables: ftp mhs-relay.cs.wisc.edu login as "anonymous", password is guest cd pub/map.tables/tables.1992.Nov.04 prompt mget rfc1148* If you prefer the PP format of the tables ftp mhs-relay.cs.wisc.edu login as "anonymous", password is guest cd pub/map.tables/tables.1992.Nov.04/pp prompt mget * I am including the file pub/map.tables/README below. You can reach the Cosine MHS Project Team at project-team@cosine-mhs.switch.ch or c=ch;admd=arcom;prmd=switch;o=switch;ou=cosine-mhs;s=project-team.
