Hi all,

Thanks Ziyang and Kai for sending your slides. Please find attached the latest version of the code base and deployment deck. A few notes:

  *   I incorporated Ziyang and Kai slides.
  *   I added background material to explain the OpenALTO architecture and initiative. Some of these slides are updates from 113, I am only including them for completeness for people downloading the slides from the IETF site. Since part of it was covered in 113, during the presentation we will quickly go through them.
  *   I will wait for Luis to send me his slides and then I will incorporate them.
  *   Today I plan to work on deployment slides for CERN. I will send later an updated version of the deck including this deployment case.
  *   I also reached out to Sabine and Roland to see if they could also provide a couple of slides update about their use cases and deployments.
  *   If you send me your slides, please do so as a separate file. This is to avoid merge conflicts; you can use me as the gatekeeper of this doc.

Thanks Ziyang for input, if you plan to present this in IETF 114 Hackathon, I suggest you follow Hackathon template available at : https://github.com/IETF-Hackathon/ietf113-project-presentations/blob/main/hackathon-presentation-template.pptx

You can also refer to other presentation slides https://github.com/IETF-Hackathon/ietf113-project-presentations, traditionally, you only have 5 minutes for status update.

For your presentation to ALTO, I suggest you need to focus on test environment setup, test use case, test results, if you can reduces the number of your slides into 1~2 page, that will be great.

As we discussed during Tuesday's ALTO weekly call, I am attaching a template for our IETF 114 talk on "ALTO Code Bases and Deployment" scheduled for next Tuesday  (https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/agenda-114-alto/).



So that we have time to review and submit them and as we also discuss during the call, would you please be able to send me your slides by Thursday (July 21) EOB?
