YEs, I support this draft draft-bernardos-manet-autoconf-survey-04 to 
become a WG item.

It is a comprehensive overview of past descriptions of autoconfiguration 
  mechanisms.

Once it is a WG item I will have more remarks on it.

I will not condition the adoption of this WG item by the deadline of 
when we start to work because this WG already has many WG items about 
which I am not sure whether they have been adopted or not by the WG.

This draft is good work which should be adopted.  It should have been 
adopted long time in the past.  If this WG wanted to deliver only _one_ 
  WG item then I'd prefer it to be this draft.
