Hi Colin,

I support this effort. I think applications where metadata needs to be
associated with media content, but not carried inside the coded format,
will keep appearing. I am familiar with one that makes use of SMPTE
metadata like Dave covers in the second I-D and am working to learn how
best to generalize that use of metadata to address as many applications
as possible.
