Internet-Draft draft-ietf-core-transport-indication-04.txt is now available. It is a work item of the Constrained RESTful Environments (CORE) WG of the IETF. Title: CoAP Protocol Indication Authors: Christian Amsüss Martine Sophie Lenders Name: draft-ietf-core-transport-indication-04.txt Pages: 35 Dates: 2024-03-04 Abstract: The Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP, [RFC7252]) is available over different transports (UDP, DTLS, TCP, TLS, WebSockets), but lacks a way to unify these addresses. This document provides terminology and provisions based on Web Linking [RFC8288] to express alternative transports available to a device, and to optimize exchanges using these.
