Suresh, co-authors, and WG:

- We will ask during the London IETF DHC WG status update if anyone feels that this draft is NOT ready for WGLC. Best of course to comment on the mailing list if you feel it is not ready (and why).

- Unless issues or concerns are raised, we will start a WG last call for the document after the London IETF.

WG:

Please consider being a document shepherd for this (and potentially) other drafts. Please let the chairs (dhc-chairs@tools.ietf.org) know if you are interested. We will need to assign a shepherd before starting the WG last call on the document.

- Bernie

Hi Bernie/Tomek,
We believe all open issues have been addressed by this version of the draft. The draft is now ready for WGLC. If you find any issues in the document shepherd review we will address them right away before WGLC.

Thanks
Suresh

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Dynamic Host Configuration Working Group of the IETF.

         Title : Registering self-generated IPv6 Addresses in
DNS using DHCPv6
         Authors : Sheng Jiang
                           Gang Chen
                           Suresh Krishnan
                           Rajiv Asati
	Filename : draft-ietf-dhc-addr-registration-04.txt
	Pages : 8
	Date : 2014-02-14

Abstract:
In networks that are centrally managed, self-generated addresses
cause some traceability issues due to their decentralized nature.
One of the most important issues in this regard is the inability to
register such addresses in DNS. This document defines a mechanism to
register self-generated and statically configured addresses in DNS
    through a DHCPv6 server.

A diff from the previous version is available at:

Please note that it may take a couple of minutes from the time of submission until the htmlized version and diff are available at tools.ietf.org.
