Thanks appreciated. I understand why you did that way, but for my work, I’m trying to use as much as possible standards so we have a higher chance of getting interop between various implementations, hence the question on RFC2442.

Continue filling me with info ;-). 

There were a lot of projects during the DTNRG time. We did ours too. In my book (and also the purpose of DTN wg), we need to standardize stuff, hence focusing on RFCs and IETF documents
