I agree that this discussion has been illuminating, both where folks seem to agree and particularly where the vagueness might be deliberate to preserve options.  

It would be good to have these thoughts documented somewhere.  For now, maybe it could be “Informational” status just to document both what is widely agreed upon and also maybe document the known alternatives in cases where multiple perspectives or options might exist ?

Maybe someone should create an Internet-Draft ?
