This internet draft (Validation of Locations Around a Planned Change; draft-ietf-ecrit-lost-planned-changes-08) is essential to support the routing of emergency calls without delay. Without provisioning the planned changes extension, emergency calls would be directed to an answering point that is no longer responsible for the caller's service location. The delay in transferring such calls to the proper answering point in such cases could cost lives. I support expediting the issuance of this draft as an RFC. Stephen F.
