Hi Mike, all,

Jumping in (WG chair hat on) on the question of the adoption of the problem
statement, requirements, and gap analysis document. The carter indicates
that draft-ietf-rtgwg-net-notif-ps will be used as a base, but it does not
state how to do it. As chairs, we feel it follows better the process to
take the content of draft-ietf-rtgwg-net-notif-ps, add the missing pieces
that are expected by the FANN charter and ask for adoption. I personally
don't expect problems in this adoption call, but if the draft was not
adopted, that would mean something that the WG would have to take care of.
I think presenting the document during the first FANN session as WG and
running the adoption call also allows for newcomers to the WG to get some
background and participate.
