Dear All,
I support the adoption of this draft because the visibility of the paths status will improve both manual troubleshooting and also later automation of the closed-loop.

Best,
Jean

Subject: [GROW] Working Group Call for Adoption draft-cppy-grow-bmp-path-marking-tlv (start 30/Mar/2023 end 21/Apr/2023)

Dear GROW,

The authors of draft-cppy-grow-bmp-path-marking-tlv asked whether GROW working group could consider adoption of the internet-draft.

This message is a request to the group for feedback on whether this internet-draft should be adopted.

Title: BMP Extension for Path Status TLV
Abstract:
The BGP Monitoring Protocol (BMP) provides an interface for obtaining
BGP Path information. BGP Path Information is conveyed within BMP Route
Monitoring (RM) messages. This document proposes an extension to BMP to
convey the status of a path after being processed by the BGP process.
This extension makes use of the TLV mechanims described in
  draft-ietf-grow-bmp-tlv and draft-ietf-grow-bmp-tlv-ebit.

The Internet-Draft can be found here:
https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-cppy-grow-bmp-path-marking-tlv-12.html

Please share with the mailing list if you are think this work should be adopted by GROW, willing to review and/or otherwise contribute to this draft!

WG Adoption call ends April 21th, 2023.

Kind regards,

Job / Chris
