It hasn't been mentioned here that having a single source to look at for all the current work is very valuable for someone getting up to speed and those that don't want to miss something. this is just an indirection problem of course and with enough tooling you can have both (separate repos and an automated wg wide dashboard)- but I haven't seen that done..
