Update: These three subtag requests, which did not receive any comments during the review period, were sent to IANA in late December. IANA published an updated Registry on December 29 that includes the new subtags, and posted the announcement as usual (and as required) on the ietf-languages-announcements@iana.org mailing list.

Those who do not subscribe to that list, and do not regularly check IANA's website, might have missed this event. I received a private message today asking what had become of these requests.

Neither I nor anyone else normally forwards the messages from the announcements list to this one, or otherwise posts a message here when the Registry is updated, because, well, that's what the announcements list is for. But forwarding email messages is easy, so if anyone feels this would be helpful (or conversely, if it would be an unnecessary use of regular-list bandwidth), please let me know.

Subject: Records and registration forms for new script subtags

ISO 15924/RA has added three new code elements for Kawi, Nag Mundari, and Sunuwar. Below are proposed records and registration forms to add the corresponding subtags to the Registry. The review period runs through Tuesday, December 21 AoE.

As always with registrations based on core standards, this is a bit repetitive and should be uncontroversial, but please review these forms to catch any clerical errors. (There might be a prize; you never know.)
