I disagree with this. He's been listed as an "Advisor" on the public web pages, but this is to acknowledge his yeoman effforts on the tooling., but at is not an 8713 advisor and therefore a member of the committee. Perhaps some previous NomCom's voted him in, but I know he didn't consider himself to be a member of last year or the year before. And probably not for any year, because he hasn't had access to the private key. And choosing not to participate still raises all sorts of painful quorum questions.
