 The IESG has received a request from the ONC Remote Procedure Call
 Working Group to consider "RPCSEC_GSS Protocol Specification"
 <draft-ietf-oncrpc-rpcsec_gss-05.txt> for the status of Proposed
 Standard.

 The IESG will also consider publication of Authentication Mechanisms
 for ONC RPC <draft-ietf-oncrpc-auth-03.txt> as an Informational RFC.

 The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits
 final comments on this action.  Please send any comments to the
 iesg@ietf.org or ietf@ietf.org mailing lists by June 30, 1997.
